Book Name: Gloom And Bloom Author: Mansi Dodia  Genre: Contemporary poetry  Rating: 4.5/5 Book Review: Mansi Dodia's poetry book titled "Gloom and Bloom" is a powerful emotional voyage that embraces depression and hope. It shows how good poetry can convey or help deal with complex feelings. Dodia's verses convey her experience with depression in its rawest form. Every poem represents a gunny bag of blood mingled with love. They range across multiple themes such as love, life, etc. In this book beautiful and strong moments have been conveyed successfully by the writer. This set of books stands out because they can shine during dark days because of its simple yet evocative lines and the "Gloom and Bloom" title says it all, indicating that one can flourish at any moment, no matter what kind of misery there might be. Mansi Dodia's writing pattern is very moving and thought-propagated. It employs ordinary but powerful vocabulary that captures comp...

In The Heart of The Night

Image
In The Heart of The Night  In a quaint village the rolling hills and in the whispering forests there lived Aanya, a young woman. At night when everyone else was fast asleep, she would sit by her window looking up at the sky dotted with moonlight. The stars twinkled seemingly just for her and the air was filled with fragrance of blooming jasmine carried by soft winds. Her heart was filled with memories of her beloved Arjun whose sweet moments made their conversations a blend of sweet-tangy and tangy-sweet experiences. Although he was far away from her, his words still lingered in the air wrapping around Aanya like a warm embrace. On one occasion, Aanya sat near her window while closing her eyes letting memories take over her. She could hear Arjun laughing, see him smile and feel his warmth around her. The moon dance reflected on both joy and the shadows turned into dreams in her room. In her mind’s eye she found herself in a magical garden where flowers glowed with an et...

Rohit And Samara

Image
Rohit : Do you know? Samara : What? Rohit : No one else can make you happy except yourself. Samara : Why? Rohit : Because the authority over your life belongs to you alone, not anyone else. Samara : What does that mean? Rohit :  In the journey of life, the final decisions are made by the one whose life it directly impacts. In other words, the person who owns that life has the ultimate authority over the choices and decisions related to it. It's a reminder that each individual's path is uniquely their own, and they alone hold the power to shape their destiny.  💕By_Anjali💕 Mysticaanjali 💕 This post is a part of Blogchatter Half Marathon’ and   Blogchatter

Tangy-Sweet

Tangy-Sweet Your tangy-sweet, sweet-tangy conversations, I remember every night. Recalling your words, recalling your words, all my sorrows fade away. In the silence of the night, your laughter echoes, Bringing warmth to the cold, and light to the shadows. Your tangy-sweet, sweet-tangy conversations, I remember every night. The moonlight dances, reflecting your smile, Turning my tears into stars, if only for a while. Your tangy-sweet, sweet-tangy conversations, I remember every night. In dreams, we meet again, where time stands still, And in those moments, my heart finds its fill. Your tangy-sweet, sweet-tangy conversations, I remember every night. 💕By_Anjali💕 Mysticaanjali 💕 This post is a part of Blogchatter Half Marathon’ and   Blogchatter
