Blame It On The Wedding Season by Rheaa Noor
This novel revolves around its unique setting, that is, the glamorous yet unpredictable environment of an Indian wedding. Aanya Kapoor is an ultra-organizational bridesmaid, while Advay Mehra is an instinctive best man. These two meet and their conflict results in not only hilarious incidents, including misplacement of baraatis and problems related to mehendi application, but also develops into slow burning chemistry which seems realistic and fun.
What makes this novel unique is the emotions it carries. Beneath the glossiness, Noor wonders if safety is to be found in predictability or chaos. For Aanya, who needs control, comes the threat from one piece of rumor that shatters all her carefully created world around her. Advay, being the spontaneous man that he is, becomes the test for Aanya and at the same time the solution to it.
"Catchy, Warm, and Layered " this is how I would describe this novel. It is not just a romantic novel; it is an account of love overcoming the fear of getting wounded. The writing skills of Noor are amazing and full of wit, yet there is more to it. If you are looking for a romantic comedy that has a cinematic feel to it along with emotionality, this is the book for you!

Ahh romantic comedy looks like an interesting read. I know there might be so much to talk about big fat Indian weddings.
