Koi toh Kabhi 

कोई तो कभी ऐसा मिले

May someone like that cross our path someday

जैसे बादलों संग हम करते है बात उसके भी संग हम कर सके कोई भी बात 

Just as we converse with the clouds, we should be able to talk with them about anything

जैसे अनजान ख्वाहिशों को चिड़ियों की तरह पंख मिल जाए

Like how unknown desires find wings like birds

कोई तो कभी ऐसा मिले

May someone like that cross our path someday

जब हो दिल ये उदास बारिश उसका संदेशा किसी भी मौसम में मुझ तक ले आए 

When the heart is melancholy, may their message reach me in any weather

जैसे सागर से मिलती है नदिया वैसे मेरी ख्वाहिशें उसकी ख्वाहिशों से जुड़ जाए 

Just as rivers meet the ocean, may my wishes be intertwined with theirs

कोई तो कभी ऐसा मिले
