Book ReviewThe mytho-fantasy novel "Rise of the Fallen" by Abhishek Krishnan is the first book in the Manwaan Series. It weaves a captivating tale of cosmic battles, celestial beings, and ancient prophecies. The story revolves around Rinad a purposeless protagonist who has a hyper-anxious personality and is a Maanwan, half-human and half-celestial after knowing his identity he encounters various celestial beings, including Angels, but as he does, the savage Asuras and Rakshasas invade Mumbai and pose a grave threat to the world. To make things worse, Satan, the leader of the Fallen Angels, forms an alliance with the Underworld Clan and opens the Gateway of Hell, initiating a rebellion against the Gods. In this book Rinad plays a savior role and he aims to save the world from destruction and Yuva, Maya, Ash ,Nivi and, Govi a crow are Rinad's Teammates, and here Mihaaraji , Usur , Asura and Rakshasa are Satan's Allies. This series is a cool mix of modern and ancient battles, and it's pretty interesting. The main theme of the story is the complexities of family dynamics and the cosmic forces that shape our lives. I Love the cover of the book and enjoyed reading this book cause it has some comic book vibes. I would love to rate this book 4.5 stars.
